HVAC operation, combustion and venting

HVAC condensate condition used as a training example
Representative training image. Apply the course reporting method to observable evidence only.

Operate installed heating and cooling equipment using normal controls when conditions permit. Record systems not operated and the reason, such as unsafe temperature or visible damage.

Visible corrosion, vent disconnection, combustion concerns and unsafe condensate disposal can justify prompt qualified evaluation. Do not state that combustion is safe without the testing and scope needed to support that conclusion.

Document the equipment, location, observed condition and practical significance. A functional response at one moment does not eliminate visible safety concerns.
